Cleon Kartawiria joined the Bestwest Building Inspections team in early 2026 as Marketing Manager, but his connection with Bestwest started well before that. At his previous digital agency, Cleon helped take care of Bestwest as a client across SEO, PPC, CRM and website development, building a deep understanding of the building inspection industry, the audience, and how Bestwest operates day to day. The transition into the in-house role was a natural next step.
A neuroscience graduate turned digital marketer, Cleon brings a curiosity-led approach to the role. His career has spanned everything from unicorn tech startups and digital healthcare to digital marketing agencies, working at scale across markets in both Australia and Asia. This breadth has given him a strong foundation in everything digital, from content and search to automation, analytics and the platforms that move the needle.
Now leading the marketing function for one of Perth’s most trusted building inspection companies, Cleon shapes the brand’s content, social media, EDM and overall digital presence. His digital-first lens guides how he supports the team: streamlining how Bestwest connects with home buyers, homeowners and builders across WA, aligning organic and paid channels with our external agency, and building internal automations that free up the team to focus on what they do best.
