Brendan Nicoli

Brendan joined the Bestwest Team in 2021 and has excelled in the role as a Building Inspector with his vast knowledge and experience in the building industry.

Brendan is a highly experienced and accomplished builder having worked in many areas of the building trade for more than 30 years. Brendan is a highly qualified registered builder with a Building Practitioners License (BP14190), Diploma of Building and Construction, WA Gas Fitting Permit, Certificate II in Engineering - Production (Air Conditioning) and Evaporative Air Conditioning Installation Course.

Brendan has been exposed to all areas of building throughout his career and has honed his skills in specifics of construction, planning, application and enforcement of legislation and swimming pool requirements.

Brendan had experience working for a local council where he managed and monitored a range of Non Compliance of Town Approvals, permits and licenses in addition to reviewing building sites during construction. He also carried out swimming pool fence inspections, provided advice to the public in relation to compliance matters and also investigated compliance related complaints within this role.

Brendan has sound knowledge of all relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code/NCC including but not limited to; AS3700, AS4773, AS1684, AS3740, AS2870.

Brendan currently carries out Construction Progress Inspections for many of our clients, this includes inspections of the concrete slab, Brickwork and Roof Frame, Waterproofing and the Practical Completion Inspection. Brendan also carries out Pre Purchase Building Inspections for established homes.

Brendan enjoys the daily challenges that come with different building sites and established homes and he is excited to review the unique differences to each property he visits.
